Alepochori beach, Attica |
The long beach in front of Alepohori (the word means “the village of the foxes”) is a beach of free access situated some 20 kilometers far from Villia and 60 kilometers western to the city center of Athens. The visitors of the beach may enjoy, apart from a nice swimming in a crystal clear sea, gorgeous meals in the taverns of the area and an excellent sunset as the sun disappears behind the group of the islets of Alkyonides. |

Accommodation facilities are available quite close to the beach and the visitors will have the chance to taste fresh fish and sea food at the taverns of the area. The beach is not organized, but it is pretty popular and receives many people, especially in the weekends, when the residents of the broader area, but also from Athens come to enjoy the sea. In case of emergence you should address to the pharmacies of Alepochori village or to Villia (some 20 kilometers eastern to the beach), or to the appropriate services of Athens. Access to the beach is possible via Villia, by rented or private car and motorbikes. |
